Clinical Quick Talks

In light of the busy clinical services and demands on hospitalists’ schedules, it is often difficult to carve out time to prepare short lectures for residents and students. To meet this need, SHM's Education Committee created a bank of quick talks designed to be succinct (given in less than 10 minutes) for use during teaching rounds or a brief sit-down session.

Click on the topics below to find an array of short lectures, with files for you to download and utilize. These resources have been contributed by various authors who have opted to share them with the SHM community.

Do you have a clinical topic and resource you like to use while teaching to share with colleagues? You can submit content of your own in a Word document to by emailing SHM for consideration by the SHM Education Committee. Read the guidelines for submission.
